For:

Management of essential hypertension.
It can be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents (e.g., calcium channel blockers, diuretics).
Treatment of chronic stable angina and unstable angina.
Treatment of symptomatic patients with stable, mild, moderate and severe chronic heart failure of ischemic or cardiomyopathic origin as an adjunct to standard therapy (diuretics, ACE inhibitors and digitalis).
