Indication: It is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal problems (e.g. spasm, cramps, and biliary colic); also used before certain medical procedures (e.g., endoscopy to relax the smooth muscle of the stomach and intestines; for the relief of spasms of female genitals, uterine atony, and spasmodic dysmenorrhea.
